INFORMATION TEXT WITHIN THE SCOPE OF LAW NO. 6698 ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
EMC Media Publishing Trade Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as the “COMPANY”) is committed to ensuring the maximum security of your personal data. Therefore, all kinds of personal data related to individuals associated with the COMPANY (including individuals benefiting from our products and services) will be processed and preserved in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as the “PDPL”). We carry out this responsibility as the “Data Controller” as explained below and within the limits prescribed by the legislation.
In order to provide you with better service, carry out the necessary work to benefit from the products and services offered by the COMPANY, provide various advantages, announce news, announcements, advertisements, information, promotions, and campaign notifications related to the field of art and artistic activities and sector, conduct advertising and promotions, obtain your opinions about the products and services offered by the COMPANY, customer satisfaction, usage habits, ensure the legal and commercial security of individuals in a relationship with the COMPANY, determine and implement the commercial and strategic strategies of the COMPANY, send event invitations, event newsletters/information articles, conduct data analysis-research, carry out the human resources activities of the COMPANY, and provide any kind of service, your personal data may be processed within the scope of PDPL. Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, shareholders, affiliates, legally authorized public institutions, and private individuals in accordance with the conditions specified in the PDPL.
By the COMPANY, your personal data may be processed through all channels (branches, internet, etc.) in writing, verbally, and/or electronically for the purposes described above.
The recording of this information aims to ensure the flawless provision of services to you, timely delivery of notifications (phone, SMS, email, etc.), and provision of information in case of contractual and/or legal obligations or as needed.
As personal data owners, if you submit requests regarding your rights to the COMPANY through the methods specified in this Information Text, your request will be concluded within a maximum of thirty days depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process requires a cost, the COMPANY will charge the fee specified in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Authority. In this context, personal data owners have the rights under Article 11 of the PDPL:
- Learn whether personal data is processed,
- Request information if personal data has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
- Request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed and request notification of the transaction made to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
- Request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the PDPL and request notification of the transaction made to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
- Object to the emergence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- Request the compensation of damages in case personal data is processed unlawfully and causes damage.
In accordance with Article 13/1 of the PDPL, you can submit your request to use the rights mentioned above to the COMPANY in writing or by using the methods specified by the Personal Data Protection Authority. As the Personal Data Protection Authority has not yet determined any method, you are required to submit your application to the COMPANY in writing in accordance with Article 11 of the PDPL. In this context, the ways and methods through which you can submit a written application to the COMPANY to exercise your rights under the PDPL are explained below:
